The Gold Coast SUNS has named a near full-strength team to take on Box Hill Hawks in the VFL Preliminary Final at Heritage Bank Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
It’s the second consecutive year the club has made the VFL Preliminary Final, with the team hungry to go one better after bowing out to Southport in 2022.
20 AFL-listed players will line up for the SUNS, with Academy members Jared Eckersley, Campbell Lake and bottom-ager Leo Lombard topping up to the final 23.
Key defender Jake Stein has been ruled out with a knee sprain sustained in the qualifying final victory.
The match against Box Hill gets underway at 3pm at Heritage Bank Stadium.
Entry is FREE and gates open at 2:30pm.
If you can’t get to the game, the match will also be broadcast on the Seven Network and 7plus.
