Jamie Stanton re-took the lead in the AFLW goalkicking stakes with two majors taking her season tally to 12 while Tara Bohanna was influential in front of goals, also snagging a pair of goals.
Charlie Rowbottom led all comers in the engine room, finishing with 28 touches from 18 contested possessions, closely followed by Claudia Whitfort and Lucy Single. The latter also played an important role up against star Dogs midfielder Ellie Blackburn and made a game-high 9 tackles.
No player had more intercept possessions than Bond University product Meara Girvan (10) who stood tall in the last quarter as the Bulldogs grinder their way back into the contest. Georgia Clayden also played an important role on a wing, finishing with 16 touches and a pair of contested marks.
