The GC SUNS are confident that key forward Ben King will be available for Saturday’s sold out Round 16 clash against Collingwood at People First Stadium.

King missed the Round 15 defeat against Fremantle with a knee complaint but is eyeing a return this weekend against the Pies.

“We expect Ben to complete full training this week and be available for selection on Saturday,” GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull told the Qscan Injury Update.

The SUNS will be without Brandon Ellis and Malcolm Rosas Jnr this Saturday with both players set to be sidelined with calf injuries.

“Brandon reported soreness in his calf following Sunday’s game in Perth and he will be unavailable for a few weeks,” Bull continued.

“Malcolm will also be unavailable this weekend but we’re targeting a return for him in Round 17.”

Lachie Weller continues to edge closer to a return in the latter stages of the season.
