After a loss on the road to West Coast, the SUNS match committee could be poised to make some changes to the line-up to take on Melbourne at Metricon Stadium. 

Sean Lemmens will be in hot contention to play his first AFL game of the year, after returning from injury in the NEAFL with a 28-disposal, four-goal effort. 

He brings plenty of leg speed and goal nous to the table and Senior Coach Stuart Dew will be considering whether to bring him in after just one NEAFL match or give him more time to build match fitness.

After missing Round 7 with injury, Pearce Hanley is expected to be fit to play again this weekend and could force Dew to make another change in the backline.

Lachie Weller has recovered from his hamstring injury and will be putting his hand up for selection once again.

Also in the NEAFL, Will Brodie and Michael Rischitelli had 30 disposals apiece while Ben King continued his form in the forward line with another four goals.
