Touk Miller is a joint-winner of Gold Coast’s 2019 Players’ Player award, presented at the Club Champion awards night.
Miller shares the award with co-captain David Swallow after the pair received an equal number of votes from their peers following the 2019 season.
The SUNS vice-captain suited up for 18 games this year after nursing an ongoing heel injury followed by a cork in the middle of the season.
Despite missing four games, Miller continued to be one of the club’s most consistent players, averaging 22 disposals and six tackles per game.

While he was deployed predominately as an inside midfielder, Miller also played in matches where he sacrificed his own game for the team in a run-with or tagging role on opposition stars.
Off the field Miller is also a dedicated teammate and strong leader within the group.
He leads with his voice in team meetings and his words carry weight with his peers.
Still only 23-years-old, Miller’s commitment to the club and team-first mentality make him a rightful winner of the Players’ Player award.
