The Gold Coast SUNS congratulate current Director, Paul Scurrah, on his appointment to the role of Chief Executive Office and Managing Director of the Virgin Australia Group.

Virgin Australia announced his appointment on Wednesday morning.

Scurrah who has more than 20 years’ leadership experience in transport, logistics, tourism and aviation including five years as CEO and Managing Director of DP World Australia and Queensland Rail has been Board Member of the GC SUNS since July 2010. 

“Leading the Virgin Australia Group is an immense honour and privilege,” Scurrah said.

“The group has positioned itself as a real competitor in the market with its ability to deliver across all segments and I am excited to be joining such a progressive and innovative business.”

Virgin Australia are an inaugural partner of the Gold Coast SUNS.
