Izak Rankine will make his return to football this Saturday when he takes to the field in the NEAFL.

Rankine has been named in the forward pocket, but will play limited game time as he builds his match fitness according to Senior Coach Stuart Dew.

“There’s obviously no pressure on him to break any land speed records, but I think he’s pretty keen to get out there,” Dew told the media on Thursday.

“We just want to get him back enjoying footy, his first game in our club colours officially even though he played the JLT games.

“We’ll all be watching how he goes and most importantly his teammates are really excited to play with him.”
