The eight players rested for the Gold Coast SUNS’ second NAB Challenge game in Perth have all been named in a 27-man squad for the final pre-season game against Adelaide on Friday night.
Defenders Nick Malceski, Rory Thompson, Steven May and Kade Kolodjashnij all return to bolster a backline that held strong against a powerful West Coast forward line last Thursday.
Experienced midfielders Matt Rosa and Michael Rischitelli also come back into the squad, as does key forward Tom Lynch and ruckman Tom Nicholls.
The squad will be trimmed to 24 players on Friday prior to the first bounce.
