The Gold Coast SUNS have unveiled a suite of Gold Coast based official partners who have signed with the club on the eve of the 2016 season.
Chempro Chemists, Australasian Retail Projects and Zarraffa’s Coffee have all joined the club as official partners for the first time, while McDonalds Gold Coast has extended its partnership with the club to a sixth year.
Gold Coast SUNS Chief Executive, Andrew Travis said he was delighted local Gold Coast businesses continued to back the SUNS.
“Local business is key to our success and we are thrilled that Chempro Chemists, Australasian Retail Projects and Zarraffa’s Coffee have joined McDonalds Gold Coast as official partners.
“A real strength of the SUNS stems from the support we receive from businesses right here on the Gold Coast, whether that be from official partners or our strong base of corporate hospitality clients who enjoy Metricon Stadium’s unrivalled corporate experience.”
“We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve been able to deliver for the Gold Coast community and the AFL since we arrived on the Coast in 2009, and this wouldn’t have been possible without the support and commitment of local Gold Coast businesses.”
McDonalds Gold Coast partnered with the Suns on the eve of the clubs inaugural season in 2011 and has been a long time backer of the match day fan experience at Metricon Stadium that will include a new social media initiative to be launched this season.
Australasian Retail Projects aims to be the partner of choice to leading national retailers, offering tailored project & construction management, including maintenance and manufacturing, which provides the customer with value for money and a team commitment across Australasia and New Zealand
A true Gold Coast success story, Chempro Chemists started in 1997 and is now the city's largest pharmacy group with over 60 locations. Chempro Chemists are a vital part of the health system on the Gold Coast, and provide a wide range of services to their local communities to improve their health and wellbeing.
Zarraffa’s Coffee was founded in 1996 and from a single store in Southport on the Gold Coast, the franchise business has evolved into an award-winning enterprise, now serving customers in over 70 locations across Queensland, Western Australia and New South Wales.
Zarraffa’s CEO Kenton Campbell said the company’s partnership with the Gold Coast SUNS was forged through a healthy respect of the Coast’s premier sporting organisation and its ties to the Queensland community.
“We look forward to a fantastic year ahead and are proud to be able to support such a key pillar of the Gold Coast region, as they make their bid for the 2016 AFL Premiership.”
