Experienced midfielder Matt Rosa has overcome a corked calf and will reclaim his place in the senior team.
The Gold Coast SUNS are coming off one of the best wins in club history following the side’s convincing 26-point win over Fremantle. The team will now host a winless Carlton outfit at Metricon Stadium on Saturday night, with the Blues beaten by Sydney last week to the tune of 10 goals.
Last year’s No. 8 draft pick Callum Ah Chee will miss after battling illness throughout the week, while Touk Miller hasn’t fully recovered from a minor ankle sprain suffered in round one and will spend another week on the sidelines.
“We’ll get Matt Rosa back this week,” senior coach Rodney Eade told United Coaches Chat.
“Cal Ah Chee’s been a bit ill early in the week so we’re going to give him a break because of his illness so there will be the one change.
“Hopefully the week after Touk [Miller] and Ah Chee will be back.”
