Gold Coast SUNS captain Gary Ablett has successfully undergone surgery to repair damage to his left shoulder.

General Manager of Football Operations, Marcus Ashcroft, provided an update on Ablett’s surgery.

“Gary underwent surgery on Wednesday and the early indications from surgeon, Greg Hoy, is that he was pleased with the procedure,” Ashcroft said.

“Our medical team, Greg and Gary determined the Latarjet procedure was the most appropriate surgical option.”
