A fatigued Gold Coast was easily accounted for by Collingwood on Saturday night, with the SUNS going down by 71 points at Etihad Stadium.
Touk Miller was again the standout player for the SUNS, continuing his rapid growth in the midfield with 32 disposals and eight clearances. Aaron Hall had 26 touches, seven clearances and six inside 50s, showing moments of zip.
Stand-in skipper Steven May battled manfully down back with 19 disposals at 84% efficiency.
