A number of players are set to return from injury this week, meaning the Gold Coast SUNS match committee are likely to make a number of changes to the team to face Sydney on Saturday night after a difficult stretch with injuries.

Swingman Sam Day and rebounding defender Kade Kolodjashnij are likely to come straight back into the senior side.

Touk Miller, Matt Rosa and Alex Sexton are also strong possibilities to return to the AFL team if they can get through Thursday’s main training session at Metricon Stadium.

First-year player Callum Ah Chee should be available after missing a week with concussion, while key defender Jack Leslie and ruckman Dan Currie also face tests but could be in the mix.
