The Gold Coast SUNS won’t offer American player Brandon Kaufman an international rookie contract in 2017.

The 25-year-old Colorado product joined the SUNS as an international scholarship player, and in doing so became the club’s first international AFL recruit.

Kaufman, who played as a wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills in the NFL, represented the SUNS at NEAFL level during his time with the club.

The club wishes Kaufman all the best as he continues to chase an international rookie contract.
