For the second consecutive week, a Gold Coast SUNS player has been awarded maximum votes in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award.
Captain Tom Lynch received a perfect ten from both coaches after turning in a formidable display where he finished with a career-best seven goals.
Lynch worked over a number of opponents, including former No.1 pick Jacob Weitering, as he racked up 19 disposals and 12 marks to complement his unblemished record in front of goals.
Coming off a six goal haul against Hawthorn in round three, Brandon Matera (7 votes) continued his strong form with 29 disposals, three goals and four inside 50s.
Former skipper Gary Ablett was awarded six votes as he led a strong midfield unit with 34 disposals and a game-high 11 clearances.
Jack Martin (3 votes) and Aaron Hall (1 vote) both polled for the second consecutive week as they finished with 30 and 29 disposals respectively.
