Gold Coast Football Club were out in the Community this week to support the annual Youth Homeless Matters Day as part of National Youth Week.
The Gold Coast Youth Service and the Project for Homeless youth teams set up 750 balloons adjacent to Bundall Rd outside the Council Chambers, to signify one balloon for every Youth that is Homeless on the streets of the Gold Coast each night
Chairman John Witheriff, Community Programs Officer Corey Bell and players Liam Rutledge and Joel Tippett were on hand to lend their support to raising the awareness of this silent and challenging problem of Youth Homelessness on the Gold Coast which is one of the GCFC’s 3 social responsibility area’s it is strongly committed to
