After going to head-to-head with Todd Goldstein in Cairns, Jarrod Witts could be set for another gruelling ruck battle on Saturday.
Carlton’s Matthew Kreuzer is in some doubt after suffering a minor groin injury, but the Blues remain hopeful that he will play.
No matter who he faces, the SUNS ruckman is making sure that he is fully prepared and focused on his own game.
Giving his midfielders first use of the football still remains the number one priority for him.
“I think it’s pretty important no matter who you come up against,” Witts told the media.
“So whether he plays or whether he doesn’t play, that’s an area of the game that’s quite crucial to us being successful and getting the ball in our half,
“So if he plays or not doesn’t really matter, I’ll still try and do the same thing.

Saturday’s game will be played at Etihad Stadium, meaning the conditions will be in stark contrast to last week’s game.
There’s an expectation that the game will be played at a quicker pace, but that doesn't worry the ruckman that much.
“I’m going to have to play different tactics and the ball’s going to move around a bit quicker, so we’ve just got to be ready for that.
“And obviously get what we can out of the opposition meeting against Carlton because they played it pretty good on Thursday night last week.”
