Gold Coast Football Club again travel to Melbourne this weekend as the Queensland State team for the first of two Under 18s Championships games.
The Queensland side plays in what is probably its toughest match against Vic Metro at 1pm Saturday at Casey Fields and then backs up again for Northern Territory at Eithad Stadium on Wednesday.
The team then heads home for the curtain raiser against Murray Bushrangers next Saturday (July 4) as a warm up to the AFL LIVE game at Carrara between Richmond and Adelaide.
Coach Guy McKenna said he believed this would be the best side the club can field given the need to play three games in a week.
