In the lead up to the final goal of the game, a flying Matt Shaw kicked at a loose ball as the Kangaroos Scott McMahon dived for the ball suffering an arm injury.
Gold Coast played on after receiving a free kick for “sliding”, however the Channel 7 commentary team thought the result could very easily have gone the other way with Shaw guilty of “kicking in danger”.
