The Gold Coast SUNS midfield will be boosted for Saturday night’s clash against Collingwood with Alex Sexton returning from a quad injury.
Sexton’s ability to run with opposition midfielders was sorely missed in last weekend’s loss to Essendon after the 22-year-old performed admirably on Fremantle’s Stephen Hill and Melbourne’s Nathan Jones in prior weeks.
Brayden Fiorini also comes into the SUNS midfield for his first game at AFL level with the 2015 No. 20 draft pick given the good news at Thursday’s training session at Ikon Park.
Defender Sean Lemmens returns to the senior side after spending a week in the reserves with Josh Schoenfeld, Mitch Hallahan and Jesse Joyce omitted from Rodney Eade’s 22.
