SUNS forward Jack Lukosius will be sidelined until at least the bye after re-injuring the PCL in his left knee.
Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull told the Qscan Injury Update Lukosius had avoided major injury but would require a stint on the sidelines to recover.
“He’s reaggravated the PCL that he injured earlier in the season,” Bull told the Qscan Injury Update.
“He’ll be in the rehab group now until at least after the bye week in Round 13.”
Both Josh Corbett and Jeremy Sharp were missing from VFL action on the weekend, with both currently nursing a similar hip injury.
Bull said the pair would require another week before testing their availability for a return to play.
“Josh is improving nicely and we are aiming to get him running a couple of times through the week and we’ll assess his availability from there,” Bull said.
“Jeremy has improved as well and like Josh will look to run at the back end of the week and we’ll assess his progress from there as well.”
Noah Anderson missed the Round 8 match against Sydney with illness, but trained fully today and is expected to be available for selection again for this weekend’s Round to RizeUp.
