The Gold Coast SUNS reserves welcome back some class this week for their round 11 clash against Sydney University at Henson Park on Sunday.

Jarrad Grant returns from a hamstring injury that has sidelined him for the last two weeks while Aaron Hall will play his first game in the reserves in almost 12 months after being omitted from the senior side.

Hall is averaging 28.6 disposals per game at senior level this year and should collect plenty of the Sherrin at NEAFL level, although coach Rodney Eade is more concerned in his prolific midfielder ‘rediscovering the basics’ this weekend.

Mackenzie Willis and Keegan Brooksby have also been omitted from the senior side and will line up against the Students, while Matt Shaw and Jarrod Garlett also come back into a team featuring 14 listed players.

Sydney University currently sit fifth on the ladder with a 5-4 record, while the SUNS are 8th with just two wins in nine games.
