The Gold Coast SUNS could regain two emerging players for the Round 19 QClash at the Gabba on Saturday night.
Midfielder Alex Davies will be a test for the match against Brisbane this weekend after being sidelined since Round 16 with an MCL injury to his knee.
“Alex has been tracking well with his rehab of his knee injury and is progressing into full training,” GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull told the Qscan Injury Update.
“If he performs well this week, we expect him to be available for selection for the weekend.”
After missing Round 18 with a hamstring injury, Malcolm Rosas Jnr is another that will be tested later in the week, to assess his availability for this weekend.
The 21-year-old will progress back into full training this week and press his case for a recall to the senior team.
