Gold Coast SUNS could have one its key leaders return for Friday night’s must-win clash against Carlton at Metricon Stadium.

Ellie Hampson was a late out for Saturday night’s defeat against Melbourne, but will be pushing for selection to face the Blues at Metricon Stadium.

“Ellie missed the weekend’s game due to a hamstring strain, which has been confirmed with a scan. Her availability for Friday night will be down to a test later this week,” SUNS AFLW Physiotherapist Indianna Franke told the Qscan Injury Update.

All 21 players who took the field in Round 8 are also expected to be available for selection in the SUNS’ final home game of the season.
