Gold Coast SUNS’ picks at Tuesday night’s AFLW Season Eight Supplementary Draft have today been confirmed.
The SUNS will take two first-round picks into Tuesday’s event, currently holding Picks 6 and 10 as well as Pick 24.
The SUNS currently have three available spots on its list following the re-signing of 23 players, including the entirety of the Season Seven Club Champion Top 10, as well as five additions made during the AFLW Sign & Trade Period.
With two seasons having being played in 2022, this one-off draft is restricted to those who are born in 2004 or earlier, i.e. will turn 19 or older in 2023. Those born in 2005 will wait for the draft following the 2023 season.
Not all 18 clubs will make a selection as part of the supplementary draft having already filled their 30-player squads.
Tuesday night’s draft will be broadcast exclusively on womens.afl, afl.com.au, the AFLW App and the AFL Live Official App from 7.30pm.
