Maddy Brancatisano’s first AFLW season on the Gold Coast has been capped off in style, taking out the Players’ Player award, presented by Mackay Regional Council.
The Players’ Player award is voted upon by the players, recognising the footballer who best lives and demonstrates the team values in all facets.
The former Tiger and Demon made an immediate impact at the club, quickly earning the plaudits of her teammates.
Brancatisano averaged 13 disposals, 6.3 contested possessions and four tackles per game in 2023 – all career-best figures.
It’s the second award of the season earned by the 23-year-old who also took out the club’s Most Professional Award.
