The Gold Coast SUNS can provide an update on several players in this week’s Qscan Injury Update.
James Tsitas will miss the remainder of the 2024 season after suffering a quad injury, while key defender Caleb Graham will also be unavailable for eight weeks with a knee complaint.
“Unfortunately for James, a quad injury sustained in the weekend’s win over Brisbane in the VFL will sideline him for the remainder of the season,” GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull said.
“We’re also expecting Caleb to be sidelined for numerous weeks after suffering a PCL injury in the weekend’s game against Brisbane.”
First year player Jake Rogers will train on Wednesday in a bid to be available for selection this weekend.
Captain Touk Miller remains at least another week away from being available for selection.
Key forwards Levi Casboult and Sam Day are eyeing a return to play the next weekend while young tall Ethan Read remains two weeks away from being available for selection.
My Cruises are launching a competition for SUNS members and fans, offering the chance to win a 7-day South Pacific cruise with Royal Caribbean, valued at $7,500
