Loyal Gold Coast SUNS members, the Kibbey family, have become the lucky recipients of People First Bank’s $10,000 match-day competition.

The competition, which has run all season at People First Stadium, was open to all match-day attendees who scanned a QR code to enter on the big screen.

The Kibbey family – Dom, Vanessa, Boston and Dexter – entered twice and received the news this week via a personal call from SUNS forward Jed Walter.

Dom’s reaction: “What did I win? $10,000? For real?!”

“I’m just pleased to get a phone call from you, Jed. I think you’ve done so good this year.

“$10,000 makes it even better!”

The Kibbeys have been members of the SUNS for 13 consecutive years and currently hold a family membership.

People First Bank Chief Customer Officer Maria-Ann Camilleri said the competition reflected the bank’s strong commitment to supporting communities.

 “People First Stadium is a wonderful asset for the Gold Coast and helps to build a sense of community by bringing together people from all walks of life,” Ms Camilleri said.

 “Whether it’s for a sporting event, a concert or a charity function, the stadium is an important part of the Gold Coast’s social fabric.
