The Gold Coast SUNS have teamed up with the Gold Coast Vintage Market to host a pop-up market event this Saturday at People First Stadium.

The SUNS will welcome more than 40 vintage clothing, vinyl and streetwear vendors displaying more than 300 racks of pre-loved clothing to People First Stadium for the club’s final home match of 2024.

For the first time, entry for the market is free with complimentary tickets available through the Gold Coast Vintage Market social media channels. All tickets to the market include entry to Saturday’s AFLW game.

Gates at People First Stadium open at 1pm with the market running until 5pm. Opening bounce for the SUNS v Power match is at 3:05pm.

Gold Coast Vintage Market owner operator Jordan Armstrong said, “We are super excited to partner with the Gold Coast SUNS to bring something you've never seen before at an AFLW game. The Gold Coast Vintage Market team are huge supporters of the AFLW so we are thrilled to be able to intertwine our world with theirs.

“We've never been able to extend a better offering to our customers than what we've got planned for this weekend. In the past, attendees have had to pay an entry fee to come to our events so to be able to offer free entry to our market plus a free ticket to support the AFLW, it's exceptional.”

SUNS AFLW players marked the occasion earlier this week in style, donning their best vintage outfits upon arrival at the Austworld Centre.

“It was a really enjoyable morning with the whole group showing off their best vintage fits and getting into the spirit ahead of Saturday’s event,” GC SUNS AFLW captain Tara Bohanna said.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming footy fans and market goers alike to People First Stadium on Saturday for our final home game. I’m sure it will be a great experience off the field and hopefully we can get the job done on-field as well.

The GC SUNS are also pleased to invite all spectators on to the field post-match for a family-friendly movie screening of If on the big screen from 5:15pm.
