After a loss in QClash17 at Metricon Stadium, the Gold Coast match committee could make multiple changes to the team to take on West Coast this weekend in Perth.
Anthony Miles has recovered from his corked calf suffered in Round 4, and after being the non-playing emergency for the QClash will be keen to retake his place in the side.
Meanwhile Wil Powell has recovered well from concussion symptoms and after starting the year in the best 22 will be available for the match.
Aaron Young has been arguably the SUNS’ most valuable player in the NEAFL and has put pressure on the AFL incumbents with his impressive form in recent weeks.
Young had 40 disposals, nine tackles and nine marks in the NEAFL match against Brisbane and is averaging 38 touches from his three matches so far playing predominately as a midfielder.
Sam Day kicked another three goals on the weekend taking his NEAFL total to nine, and will once again be putting his hand up for selection.
Also in the NEAFL, Jacob Heron was named in the best and will give Stuart Dew the option to add more speed to the lineup if he desires.
Ben King had a breakout game up forward with three goals while Jacob Dawson was also solid in defence.
