SUNS Academy Youth Girls head to Coffs Harbour
The SUNS Academy are proud to announce the 2018 SUNS Academy Youth Girls Squad that will head to Coffs Harbour for the Northern States Youth Girls Academy Series.
The SUNS Academy are proud to announce the 2018 SUNS Academy Youth Girls Squad that will head to Coffs Harbour for the Northern States Youth Girls Academy Series.
After two trials against the Brisbane Lions, players have been selected form both regions to combine in Coffs at the carnival.
Players from Nth NSW, Gold Coast, Capricornia, Mackay, Townsville, Cairns and even Cape York with Allanah Phinesea from Thursday Island representing.
A total of 78 young aspiring AFLW players commenced pre season back in November with 42 trailing over the past two games.
The girls will take on the Giants and Swans with the main Queensland Selection match against the Brisbane Lions on Saturday at 1pm.
On completion of the Carnival the Queensland U18 selectors will pick there training squad for the Nationals later on in the year.
