There’s likely to be a lot of discussion at the SUNS Match Committee meeting this week following the weekend’s loss to Adelaide.

While there were no fresh injury concerns to come out of the game, the Optomo Injury Report confirmed defenders Steven May and Rory Thompson will not come back into the side to face North Melbourne.

Keegan Brooksby was elevated to the senior list late last week and could come into contention if it’s decided there’s a need for another tall defender to combat the Roo's forward line.

Wingman Matt Shaw continued his strong NEAFL form with 34 disposals and seven marks last week, and continues to press his case for selection. Midfielder Jesse Lonergan also falls into that category, and is another name that will likely be discussed at Match Committee.

Jack Scrimshaw, Brad Scheer and Josh Schoenfeld will also come into consideration.
