The Gold Coast SUNS’ NEAFL team will face the Brisbane Lions in the ‘2Clash’ this Saturday afternoon at South Pine Sports Complex.
This looms as a crucial clash, where a Gold Coast win would move them to equal fourth on the ladder.
Twenty listed players will line up for the SUNS, headlined by Michael Rischitelli, who makes his return from a long term knee injury.
This Saturday will mark 337 days since the midfielder last pulled on the red and gold.
The SUNS will take on a near full strength Lions side, who have 24 AFL-listed players available for selection.
Draftee Will Brodie also comes into the team after being omitted from the senior side.
One name to watch out for is GC SUNS Academy prospect Bailey Scott, who has been named on the interchange bench.
Scott is the son of former Geelong and North Melbourne star Robert, who won a premiership at the Roos.
Cameron Loersch comes out of the team due to suspension, while Mackenzie Willis has earned a call up to the seniors.
