The Gold Coast SUNS reserves have returned from Sydney empty handed, losing to a classy Swans outfit by 65 points.
The SUNS stuck with Sydney in the opening quarter to be down by a point at the first break, but six unanswered goals from the home side broke the game open with the Swans running out 18.12 (120) to 8.7 (55) winners.
For the visitors, Jack Leslie had an outstanding game with 36 disposals and 14 marks while Jesse Joyce also tried hard, collecting 29 touches.
Keegan Brooksby (24 disposals, 8 marks), Callum Ah Chee (24 disposals, 1 goal), Ryan Davis (38 disposals, 9 marks, 1 goal) and Danny Stanley (30 disposals, 8 marks) were also among the best.
