Six Gold Coast SUNS Academy players have been named in an extended 33-man Allies Squad to compete in the Division 1 National Championships.
The Allies team comprises of the best U18 talent from Queensland, New South Wales and the ACT, competing against teams from South Australia, Western Australia, Victoria Country and Victoria Metro.
Overall, Queensland has 11 representatives in the squad that will travel to meet each of the four interstate sides over the coming month.
Jack Bowes, Brad Scheer, Josh Williams, Daniel Charlesworth, Nick Kempe and Max Spencer will represent the SUNS Academy throughout the Championships.
State talent managers, club recruiters and AFL officials Keven Sheehan, Brenton Sanderson and Michael Ablett were involved in the selection process.
