Fremantle have made three changes for their trip East, including welcoming a debutant into their round 18 line-up.
Shane Yarran, a mature-aged draftee, will play his first AFL game against Gold Coast after being hindered by injury in the earlier parts of the season.
The 27-year-old forward is joined by ruckman Zac Clarke and wingman Ed Langdon, who have both earned a senior recall to replace Fremantle’s injured veterans.
Michael Barlow (shoulder) and Hayden Ballantyne (facial fracture) sustained injuries during the Dockers' round 17 clash against Geelong, while Matthew Pavlich is being rested ahead of his milestone 350th game next weekend.
