With midfielders Alex Sexton and Matt Rosa ruled out through injury, Rodney Eade will need to make at least two changes to his round eight side to face GWS at Spotless Stadium on Saturday.
The coach hinted in his post-match press conference that tall defender Jack Leslie could come into the side after dominating in the NEAFL loss to Sydney on Saturday with 36 disposals and 14 marks.
The Giants are averaging a competition high 132.5 points per game over the last four weeks and Leslie would bolster the SUNS defence in need of manpower. Keegan Brooksby may be another answer to the callout for troops down back.
Ryan Davis was omitted from last week’s senior side and responded in a positive manner with 38 disposals and nine marks in the twos, while youngster Callum Ah Chee and nominated rookie Danny Stanley were also very good against the Swans.
Luke Russell, Seb Tape, Brandon Matera, Tom Nicholls and Matt Shaw all have mature bodies and valuable experience at the top level that could come in handy against the Giants.
