Over 5,500 Gold Coast SUNS fans have registered to attend Sunday’s People’s Day at Metricon Stadium.
While can’t wait to watch the team train on Metricon Stadium for the first time following the official opening ceremony at 10:15am, there will be plenty of other activities on at the stadium throughout the day.
For the kids, the AFL Playground will be set up at the rear of the Giant Screen. The AFL Playground will be a feature at Metricon Stadium during the 2011 season.
The Gold Coast City Council Active and Healthy Lifestyles Program will open their interactive marquee as will stadium sponsor, Metricon and the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018 bid team.
GC SUNS media partners, Hot Tomato will broadcast live from people’s Day at Metricon Stadium and while the Gold Coast Bulletin will distribute their weekend editon of the paper that includeds a beginners guide to Metricon Stadium.
Roving entertainment will be on show throughout the day, and fans will be able to sign up as 2011 GC SUNS members and purchase Merchandise at the venue.
