Don’t miss The Vernons on Game Day TV presented by Virgin Australia this Saturday with the exciting Gold Coast band perform their hit song “Honey” on the 5th Quarter Live Sound Stage.
Fresh from their Big Day Out performances, the Vernons will rock the Sound Stage pre-game, at half time and again after the final siren, introducing those attending Metricon Stadium to their unique sounds which is best described as an eclectic mix of genres and universal influence.
This cosmopolitan four-piece has concocted a potion for popularity and judging from recent successes it's obvious this old school rock feel with new modern ideas is hitting a chord.
Speaking of the 5th Quarter Live Sound Stage, why not get your friends together and spend some time in the 5th Quarter LIVE precinct pre-game. The area is a favourite destination for game day attendees and is perfect spot to enjoy a drink and something to eat before the on field action gets underway.
NATIONAL ANTHEM performed by DOZZI
Performing Advance Australia Fair is Brisbane based country-rock trio, and sisters Andrea, Jesse and Nina DOZZI who will be giving a stirring rendition of the national anthem live onfield as part of the pre-match Opening Round ceremonies.
After launching live Tweets to the stadium big screens last year, the game day TV team will launch fan Instagram images this weekend, to see your image up on the big screens simply follow gcsuns and include our match day hash tag #aflSUNSsaints.
Get your flags ready because in 2013 we are launching a brand new game day tradition at Metricon Stadium and we need your help!

Want to take part in the HOSTPLUS Super Kick at the next GC SUNS home game? Entering is easy. Simply log onto the Gold Coast SUNS Facebook page, LIKE IT, and click on the HOSTPLUS Super Kick tab.
The lucky winner will be notified by a Gold Coast SUNS staff member prior to our next match where you will be taken out onto the Metricon Stadium surface pre-game and given the chance to win some great prizes with four HOSTPLUS Super Kicks.

Make sure you look out for Nathan “The MULLETMAN” Bonner at Metricon Stadium this weekend.
The internationally acclaimed street artist will perform on the Southern Plaza.
Fresh from appearing at the Surfers Paradise festival, Nathan’s award winning show is a seductive style of genuine comedy rendered with unsophisticated, skilful, circus based stunts which include Juggling, Illusions, Equilibristic, Whip Tricks, Bar Trick Propositions, Power Ballads and of course his Mullet.
Fun, Laughter and Amazement for the entire family with the comical antics from ACRO CLOWN. Comedy magic that makes children of all ages giggle with sheer delight. Silly balloon animals, amazing juggling and audience participation will entertain the young and the young at heart.

Visit the brand new McDonalds Kids Zone at the training field, there’s free face painting for GC SUNS members at three locations around the stadium and a stack of cool activities.
We don’t want you to just enjoy the game day entertainment, we want you to be apart of it and the interactive African drummers performing around the Southern plaza will certainly test your skills.
