After dropping their JLT Community Series game to the Brisbane Lions last week, the Western Bulldogs have named a strong squad for this Thursday’s final pre-season clash against the Gold Coast SUNS at Metricon Stadium.
2016 All Australians Marcus Bontempelli and Matthew Boyd headline the list of inclusions for last year’s premiers, which also includes Norm Smith medallist Jason Johannisen, Bulldogs skipper Robert Murphy and former Magpie Travis Cloke.
With the SUNS also naming their best possible squad including dual Brownlow medallist Gary Ablett, it shapes as an enticing contest less than three weeks out from the season proper.
