On Tuesday evening, the Gold Coast SUNS will host its first ever AFLW Club Champion event, albeit in different circumstances to first anticipated.
Due to the social distancing restrictions in place, the SUNS will be hosting the event over Zoom with players to attend from their homes.
The AFLW players will still dress up for the occasion to celebrate what was a momentous debut season for the club.
Seven awards will be presented on the night, including the inaugural AFLW Club Champion award which was voted on by the coaching panel after each game.
A video of the presentation will also be released on goldcoastfc.com.au after the event.
