Gold Coast SUNS Assistant Coach Andy Lovell in the lead-up to the side’s Round 17 contest against the Eagles.

"They're a proud club and their coach is a fiercely competitive person so we go over and know we're going to face a really tough team and tough game.

"It certainly presents us with an opportunity if we play really well to give ourselves a chance."

West Coast Eagles

Eagles senior coach John Worsfold spoke to reporters on Wednesday, and was hopeful he would welcome back a handful of senior players for the clash against the SUNS on Saturday afternoon.

"Embley, McGinnity, Rosa, Sheppard, Glass are available," Worsfold said.

"That's a positive for us. Again we've got to look at how fit those guys are and what they could bring to the group."
