Four Queenslanders are being put through their paces at the AFL Draft Combine, in Melbourne.

Queeensland Under-18 players Jonathan Freeman, Archie Smith and Jarred Ellis are taking part in the combine, along with Labrador ruckman, Fraser Thurlow.

He played for Queensland in the NAB Under 18 championships in 2012, with a shoulder reconstruction curtailing his progress early on 2013.

Freeman is a key forward from Aspley. He has an excellent ability to track the ball in the air take contested marks. Covers the ground with ease and presents a strong leading target, displaying clean hands when marking overhead.

Smith, from Mt Gravatt, is an exciting and athletic ruckman who comes from a basketball background. He has an impressive vertical leap which often allows him to jump over his opponents and get his hands on the ball. A strong competitor, Smith thrives in the physicality of the contest in the air and at the ground.
