Tune into SUNS TV for the Round 15 team announcement

The Gold Coast SUNS have received a significant boost ahead of the Round 15 match against Geelong with a number of experienced players returning to the side.

The GC SUNS look set to regain Jarrod Harbrow, Michael Rischitelli, Campbell Brown and Dion Prestia from injury, with Mav Weller, Aaron Hall and Jackson Allen throwing their hat into the selection ring after impressive performances at NEAFL level.

Harbrow is seemingly an automatic inclusion after he withdrew from the senior team last week after suffering gastro in Perth.

Rischitelli and Brown will also make welcome returns from hamstring and knee injuries respectively.

In whatcould be a shock selection, the GC SUNS have included Queensland Zone player Jackson Allen on its extended interchange bench.

Allen, a shining light at last year's state under-18 championships, cut his teeth at the senior level with Morningside in the NEAFL competition.

He trained with Gold Coast SUNS in the 2011 pre-season and was used as a top-up player in the reserves.

One person highly impressed by Allen is AFL national talent manager Kevin Sheehan. After seeing Allen star for the Queensland under-18s against the Northern Territory in 2011, Sheehan described his kicking as elite and already AFL standard.

Allen's penetrating right boot is a hallmark of his game.

The GC SUNS interchange bench will be trimmed to four players at 5pm, Friday.
