The Gold Coast SUNS 2012 television commercial has been met with rave reviews, not just because of the acting ability of the Club’s Senior Coach or the skill level of the country’s most exciting players, but because the music behind the Club’s commercial has an exciting summery feel that gets you excited every time you hear it played.
The track is called “Why Don’t We Do Something” and is the work of talented Queensland group Hey Geronimo.
An eclectic compositions from other indie-pop bands, Hey Geronimo have a unique sound and a strong desire to bring their kooky, upbeat brand of party music to the people.
Since launching the previously mentioned single, the band’s YouTube clip has received upwards of a million hits, while their music reviews have been just as impressive.
Described as a band that has it’s audience on their feet from start to finish, Hey Geronimo will be looking to rock Metricon Stadium when they play prior to, during half time and then immediately following the Gold Coast SUNS season opener against the Adelaide Crows on March 31st.
Fresh from supports with Owl Eyes, Nantes, Ernest Ellis, Ball Park Music, & The Jungle Giants and tour dates on the road with Faker and Rockets, Hey Geronimo are looking forward to performing on the Gold Coast, and bringing the Gold Coast SUNS 2012 AFL television commercial to life during their fifth quarter live performance.
Hey Geronimo will headline an exciting afternoon at Metricon Stadium on a day the Club celebrates the opening round of the Toyota AFL Premiership season, launches their new weekly television show on Seven Mate and shakes up the game day activity and crowd engagement with a host of new Game Day TV segments.
