What a weekend! Whilst the GCFC players were down in VIC playing in their first ever final,  local GC AFL action was pumping!

The AFL Gold Coast Juniors Grand Finals were held at Broadbeach AFC on Saturday and Sunday and our GCFC Promo Squad was right amongst the action. It was a great weekend of thrills & spills on the field, as well as plenty of excitement around the concourse.

The Premiers were:

U/16 Division 1 -Southport Sharks

U/16 Division 2 - Burleigh Bombers

U/14 Division 1 - Surfers Paradise Demons

U/14 Division 2 - TWC Blues

U/12 Division 1 - TWC Blues

U/12 Division 2 - Surfers Paradise Demons

GCFC Partners Bank of Queensland and Hot Tomato were at the ground on Saturday for the big finale of their 'Footy Finatics' promotion. There were  ten winners from the weekly on-air footy quiz who had to be at the ground on Saturday. All ten finalists had to sport a GCFC guernesy and one lucky winners guernsey number was randomly drawn by a BOQ representitive. The lucky winner was Bryan Ayton from Parkwood, who has won himself two tickets to the Toyota AFL Grand Final & Centre Square function, as well as flights and accommodation. Well done Bryan and thanks to the other contestants!
