The Gold Coast SUNS, on behalf of its players, coaches and staff, congratulate Ken Hinkley on his appointment as senior coach with the Port Adelaide Football Club.
Ken joined the club in September, 2009 after spending six seasons with the Geelong Football Club.

Gold Coast SUNS CEO Travis Auld congratulated Hinkley on the appointment.
Everyone at the Gold Coast SUNS applauds Ken on his appointment as senior coach with Port Adelaide, and while we are disappointed to lose him, he well and truly deserves the opportunity to coach at the highest level. “Ken has made an enormous contribution to the Gold Coast SUNS and we are grateful that he spent three years with the SUNS continuing his coaching apprenticeship.”

Gold Coast SUNS coach, Guy McKenna also paid tribute to Hinkley’s role with the club.
Ken has played a significant role with the club, personally he has been a great support for me, but importantly his experience and knowledge has helped shape the Gold Coast Football Club.
