We have been informed of Kurt’s decision to request a trade to the Sydney Swans.“Our interest in Kurt has always been based on the fact he is a home-grown product and had indicated at times an interest in returning to the Gold Coast. We have invested significantly in a number of exciting key position prospects and we are very comfortable continuing down that path."

Kurt's decision now enables us to move forward and implement our planned list strategies as we continue to build momentum heading into the 2013 season.“We will now enter Monday’s exchange period with clear priorities to continue to strengthen our list and Draft position.”
