Close to 30 children and their families selected by Victorian charity group Project Dovetail, had an experience they wont forget, when they visited the Gold Coast last week.

The trip included a stop off at Metricon Stadium on the way to Dreamworld, in which Gold Coast SUNS player Josh Caddy and the Gold Coast SUNS promotions team greeted the entourage as they called in to the Gold Coast SUNS home.

The young visitors managed to participate in the inflatable handball and kicking target before getting autographs and photos.

The trip was organise by Ms Globe Australia winner 2010 Nikki Eastmure who through the Project Dovetail program gave many of these young people an experience they will never forget.

The children were chosen from organisations like Heart kids, The Salvation Army and The Leukaemia Foundation. The day was supported by some of the Gold Coast SUNS partners which included Virgin Blue and Dreamworld.
