The Gold Coast SUNS helped launch the White Christmas Charity Fund, supporting the White Christmas Charity Event in the lead into Christmas.

The White Christmas Charity Fund Appeal has been set up with the support of the Gold Coast SUNS, Gold Coast Bulletin, Gold Coast Community Fund and Movie World

The fund has already received strong corporate support from some of the Gold Coast SUNS corporate supporters including ASAP Glass, Sign Event and Altos who have all pledge support to those in need on the Gold Coast.

Adding to this, proceeds from the Lads Luncheon, a function held on the Gold Coast last week at which GC SUNS coaches Andy Lovell and Shaun Hart were guest speakers, has also tipped in $15,000 to the White Christmas Charity Fund Appeal.

In 2010, $30,000 was raised and distributed to the Gold Coast SUNS charities that centre around the clubs three pillars of Youth Homeless, Domestic Violence, North Gold Coast region and the Gold Coast Community Fund.

The White Christmas Charity Fund will run from November 26th up to December 25th 2011.

100% of proceeds donated to the fund will once again be distributed to the Gold Coast SUNS charities in Youth Homeless, DomesticViolence, North Gold Coast region and the Gold Coast Community Fund.
